Foam Roller Class
Try a Pilates routine
using the foam roller to challenge core
stability, massage and release tight
muscles, facilitate stretching and progress
balance. Prerequisite is
previous experience with Pilates/core
stability or Introductory class.
Rollers available for purchase from the
clinic after workshop. Spaces limited.

Ball Class
Prerequisite is previous
experience with Pilates/core stability or
Introductory class and you must bring your
own Exercise ball (55 cm or 65 cm).
Exercise balls available for purchase from
the clinic. If you intend to purchase
a ball for the class, buy it ahead of time
as they come deflated and require inflation
2 times over a 24 hour period. Pilates
on the ball adds an extra element of variety
and challenge to your core stability routine
and improves your coordination and balance.

Pilates Ring Class
The
Pilates ring adds resistance and increased
muscle strengthening to your routine.
Rings available for purchase from clinic
after workshop. Spaces limited.

Elastic Bands Class
Pilates mat exercises and
reformer exercises can be done with varying
resistance elastic bands. This adds
resistance to the workout increasing the
strengthening, core stability, sculpting and
toning the muscle. Learn to
incorporate the elastic in some Pilates mat
exercises you already know. Also,
learn some new exercises which usually use a
Reformer (a piece of Pilates equipment with
a sliding carriage pullies, and springs) but
can be simulated with the elastic bands.

Fusion Class
Pilates Fusion is a class
which combines the mind body disciplines of
Yoga and Pilates into an integrated workout
drawing from and progressing through
controlled exercises, postures and core
stabilizing techniques which improve
strength, balance, and flexibility.

Toning Ball Resistance Pilates
Enjoy a strengthening
routine using soft weighted balls which fit
comfortably into the palm of the hand.
This Pilates session incorporates mat
exercises that increase intensity and bring
awareness to the shoulder girdle stability
and target desired muscle groups.

Body Rolling
(small ball and foam roller)
Body rolling
is a type of body therapy exercise which
uses a 6 - 10 inch inflatable ball to
stretch muscles, massage, free up
restrictions, and release tension.
Stretch, elongate, tone, and realign by
rolling your body over this pressure
resistant ball as well as develop core
strength. Discover the many emotional
and physical benefits of Body rolling,
increase your body awareness, and learn how
to fix your own imbalances at an early stage.

Small Exercise Ball
Encorporate the use of a 10 inch inflatable
ball to add a new dimension to your Pilates
mat exercises and progress your
coordination.

BOSU
The BOSU is
flat on one side and domed on the other
which makes for a great piece of equipment
to establish and reinforce balance and
proprioception while strengthening the core.
Exercises are done with both the dome side
up or the flat platform side up making it a
balance board.
